High school / secondary education (or higher)
Eligible applicants will be admitted in an order of priority based on points awarded for:
- overall grade average on the final or latest grade transcript (priority to applicants with A and B levels according to ECTS)
- grade in English (priority to applicants with ECTS levels A and B in English)
- additional points may be awarded for academic and scientific achievements, active participation in youth organisations, and other relevant activities
For applicants who are yet to graduate secondary school, admission and pre-selection is conditional on presenting secondary school diploma no later than 12 July.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Latvian.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
As the teaching language is English, students must demonstrate a strong command of the language. The minimum points required correspond to an English grade at the ECTS C level. Applicants may be invited for an interview at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
Students whose native language is English or have completed their schooling or first degree at an English-speaking university or institution are generally exempt from the language requirement.
A motivation letter must be added to your application.
For applicants who A) have graduated secondary school before 2017, B) are not residents of Latvia or C) will be graduating secondary school in 2017 with an A or B grade average on the latest grade transcript. Pre-selection or early admission by 16 April.
