CertificateIntensive Programme in European Law and Economics Winter 2023 (IP14)

Overview

The Intensive Programme is developed for professionals from public administration, NGOs and academia with at least two years of work experience.

Over a period of 6 weeks, from 13 November until 22 December, the Programme provides comprehensive training on the legal, economic, and political functioning of the European Union. In addition, the Programme includes a study visit to Brussels for in-person meetings in the European Parliament, the European Commission, the European External Action Service, and other EU institutions.

Participating countries or specific regions are decided upon by the Programme donors.

Eligible countries for the Winter 2023 session are Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Moldova.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, study dates may change.

Programme structure

Autumn 2023 Intensive Programme will offer the following courses: EU Law, Legislative Drafting and the Rule of Law, Human Rights, European Political Economy, Good Governance and Anti-corruption and EU Integration.

Upon passing of exams and completion of the Programme, participants receive a certificate of programme completion and 1.5 ECTS for each course.

The Programme is free of charge.

This Programme is funded by the United States of America and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. All costs associated with the Programme are covered by Programme donors.
