The application procedure for the study year 2015/ 2016 at RGSL continues. Applications that were submitted before 8 July are already processed. Later applications will be processed on a first come basis, subject to regular admission criteria.

Riga Graduate School of Law, in cooperation with the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other partners, offers an Advanced Programme aimed at public officials in the European Neighborhood Policy countries and Central Asia. Applications should be submitted online and the deadline for submission is 13 July 2015.

RGSL offers free study places to outstanding local secondary school graduates for the academic year 2015/2016. The Excellence Award for Outstanding Local Applicant, which covers tuition fees for one semester, has been established to give the most promising students who strive for excellence a chance to choose quality education in their homeland. RGSL will offer one free study place in the Bachelor study programme “Law and Diplomacy” and one in “Law and Business”.

Riga Graduate School of Law will contact all applicants who submitted their applications for studies at RGSL with admission decision no later than 11 July 2014. If you have received an accepted offer for studies at the Riga Graduate School of Law Masters or Bachelor programmes please make your decision and inform us through the RGSL online application system until 14 July by following the hyperlink, which you received by e-mail.

For the academic year 2014/2015 the Excellence Award for Outstanding Local Applicant in the Bachelor study programme “Law and Diplomacy” is awarded to Anastasija Aleksejeva from Riga Secondary School No. 40 (grade point average – 9.58).

For the academic year 2014/2015 the Excellence Award for Outstanding Local Applicant in the Bachelor study programme “Law and Business” is awarded to Anastasija Gellera from Riga Private Techno Linguistic Gymnasium (grade point average – 9.26).

Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) is pleased to announce a competition for the Civil Society Leadership Awards for an LL.M programme in Public International Law and Human Rights. 5 full Scholarships are on offer at RGSL to applicants from the following countries: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cambodia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Laos, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. All teaching is conducted in English.

Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) has announced an Early Admissions Lottery which allows this year’s applicants to win one academic year of tuition-free studies – one spot in the Bachelor programmes and one in the Masters programmes. In order to participate, applicants should submit their documents for early admission before 17 March.

On 29 May and 12 June 2013, RGSL obtained full accreditation for all current study programmes, including also the new PhD programme. The accreditation was granted the maximum duration, which is 6 years, and the next accreditation will take place in 2019.

Starting with April RGSL has introduced a new online system designed for the submission of admission applications. The new system makes the submission of documents for potential students easier and provides a better overview of the application process for the applicants and the administration at the RGSL.
